“Tom has written SO many amazing songs that are catchy but educational too.  My three favorites for what they teach kiddos are The Library BoogieThe Solar System, and The Garbage Monster.  As a Spanish teacher, I love that this song (Alligator Jump!/¡Salta Caiman!) is in both Spanish and English. Tom has a beautiful voice paired with his handmade puppets which makes for a super engaging show.  My boys regularly make connections and talk about what they learned in the songs (especially about recycling and the solar system and the community message of Stone Soup)  in our day to day lives.”  - Parent and teacher Patricia Lessard

Tom Knight has been delighting children and their grown-ups with his original, interactive, musical puppet show since 1988.  His unique blend of musicianship and puppetry celebrates reading (“the Library Boogie”), the environment (“the Garbage Monster”), and science (“the Solar System”), with original hand-made puppets, catchy songs, and lots of audience participation.

The vibrant and amusing visual elements appeal to children as young as 2, while fun lyrics engage children up to twelve, and adults, too! It’s a great addition to any public, private, or homeschool activity and is designed to educate and inspire young minds.

Tom has performed over 900 times at festivals, museums, and libraries across the country, including the Museum of Natural History at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC, and Lenny Suib Puppet Playhouse, New York City.  Western Massachusetts performances include the Green River Festival, River’s Meltdown, First Night Northampton, and Jones Library in Amherst.
