Tom Knight is a singer/songwriter from Ithaca, New York who brings a wide variety of influences to his concerts. His original songs range from uptempo dance numbers, to folk-style ballads, to audience sing-a-longs. And he can juggle too.

Besides performing in coffeehouses in Central New York, Knight also has performed for ten years with the Peanut Butter and Jelly Puppeteers, and leads a dance band called "The Blue Moon." What this means is that in any given concert, you might hear a song about following your dreams, the virtues of pancakes, or a cover of a Fred Astaire tune.

Knight recently recorded a CD of original songs called "Crazy Little Dream," which includes songs in many different styles with over 12 different musicians. Knight also has three cassettes of songs for families.

Joining Tom is Jim Lawrence on vocals and bass. Jim has been playing for over 20 years in Central New York in groups playing styles from jazz, folk, fusion, pop, new wave, bluegrass and rock and roll. In 1984 his band "The Choice" won the BBC Great American Rock 'n' Roll Talent Search. From 1985 to 1991, Jim was the lead singer in "The Kinetics."
